London’s West End has long been the go-to destination for entertainment. The neon lights, packed theatres and live music venues are a lure for fun loving revellers. The Piano Works West End pays homage to the musical history of the area, encouraging guests to sing their hearts out. We couldn’t wait to raise a song, and a glass or two.

Situated between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square,  The Piano Works West End is right at the centre of theatre-land and easily accessible. We arrived at their door and descended through atmospheric red lights to basement level, where a baby grand piano took centre stage. We were welcomed with a cocktail and serenaded by fine voiced singers as we sipped. The main room had space for up to 100 standing or 60 seated guests and was equipped with a DJ booth ready to party. We got to sample a selection of very colourful canapés, including salmon blinis, mini burgers and some rather cute macarons. The staff were warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was certainly set for fun. We’d imagine this would be a memorable venue for an office party or a big birthday.

The Piano Works West End offers a variety of themed evenings throughout the week. Guests can enjoy sing along dinners and brunches, often hosted by West End stars, or a speakeasy experience with singing waiters. They also host a Singeasy movie sing-along, which we enjoyed on our visit. Guests are given a vocal warm-up before being whisked away to the screening room to bash out a tune along with popular musical movies. We gave a beautiful rendition of Grease and are already planning to return for the likes of The Greatest Showman or Frozen.

Our visit to The Piano Works West End was an absolute blast. We left with a song in our hearts and smiles on our faces. This fun venue will certainly ensure a lively evening and has great potential for Christmas parties, after work gatherings and celebrations of all sizes.
