The Stephenson Room is one of the smaller function rooms at One George Street. There is a grand fireplace on the South wall framed by a splendid dark wood mantel piece, above which hangs the portrait of Isambard Kingdom Brunel one of the Institution’s most noted past presidents. There is a solid wooden table along the middle of the room ideal to seat up to 26 people for a board meeting or an intimate private dining event. It is also ideal for a small presentation for up to 30 people theatre style, or a standing reception. The Stephenson room interconnects with the Council room which can serve as additional and separate event space.
