ABOUT THIS VENUE

Flora Indica is an acclaimed contemporary Indian restaurant located in the heart of Kensington. It is inspired by the intrepid Scottish botanists who travelled throughout India during the Victorian period. Their explorations led to the discovery of thousands of species of exotic plants, previously unknown to Britain. As a result of these endeavours, the book which contains this epic catalogue of botanical species, entitled Flora Indica was published in London in 1855. The light and airy ground floor dining room and bar seats 30 and can accommodate 50 standing. Downstairs, the Flora bar and lounge, can seat 70 with standing room for 100 people.
