ABOUT THIS VENUE

Blacks Club is housed in a Georgian townhouse in Soho, London. Built in 1732 by John Meard Jnr. the apprentice to the highly acclaimed English architect Sir Christopher Wren, it was also once home to Charles Fortnum of Fortnum & Mason. Nearly 300 years later in 1992, Blacks Club was founded by Tom Bantock, a famous Norfolk poacher. The Lower ground den has a capacity for 30 guests standing reception or 20 guests for sit down meal or theatre-style for presentations. The Ground floor has a capacity for 40 guests for a canapes & drinks reception. This floor is only available for hire as part of the entire house. The Dining room on the first floor can host 55 guests for a standing reception or up to 36 for a seated meal. The 2nd floor Private Room can host 55 people for a standing reception or up to 36 for a lunch or dinner.
