The adjacent Stratford International station has trains which reach King's Cross in 6 minutes. London City airport is only 17 minutes away by DLR. Guests can walk 5 minutes to Stratford station, which has excellent Jubilee, Central line and Overground links to central London and further afield. Once the Queen Elizabeth line is opened, Heathrow airport will be reachable within 40 minutes, making The Stratford Hotel an excellent hub for travelling delegates.
The accommodation at The Stratford is exemplary. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully styled. A blend of tasteful Scandinavian minimalism and ultra-modern gadgets, such as clever lighting, high speed Wi-Fi and tablet controlled in-room entertainment. We tested a fantastic Manhattan Studio room. Featuring 65 square meters of space, a rainforest shower, free-standing bathtub and floor to ceiling windows, this majestic room was big enough for a party. Long term guests will love their loft apartments, which feature fully equipped kitchens, comfortable rooms, luxury linen and weekly housekeeping. Guests can also benefit from access to one of the best equipped hotel gyms we’ve seen, plus a breath-taking rooftop garden. Oh, and they’re dog friendly too.
The Stratford hotel has a wealth of event rooms. They’ve a selection of fully featured rooms that can be tailored for boardroom meetings of 12, or reception and theatre style events of up to 44 guests. The ground floor brasserie is a vibrant open space which includes an inviting fireplace, an art installation and an outdoor terrace. Reception is tucked away, so guests can drink and dine in leisure. Spaces can be booked for drinks parties, group dining and private hire events. The mezzanine space is a glamorous cocktail lounge that can host receptions, parties, informal meetings and networking events. For a taste of luxury, the 7th floor Allegra restaurant is a real treat. Featuring full hire, semi-private and outdoor dining options, plus genuinely delicious food, Allegra is a fantastic choice for high end dining events and canape receptions.
